END OF THE ROAD, PART 1
JAZZ: (Narration) Great. Here we are, cornered by Decepticons. Even though we are pretty much equally numbered... I wasn't counting on a giant bot with a sword.
(Motormaster has Clocker in his clutches)
HOT ROD: Clocker! No!
JAZZ: Hot Rod!
DEAD END: Going somewhere?
HOT ROD: Yeah. (He punches Dead End) My way! Let him go, Decepticon!
MOTORMASTER: Hn. Typical. (He shoots Hot Rod in the shoulder) Now then, as for you... (Clocker zaps him) AGH! Why you little...
BRAKEDOWN: That's no way to talk to kids, sonny.
MOTORMASTER: Hn... You.
BRAKEDOWN: I may be old, but I've still got what it takes.
MOTORMASTER: *Sigh* I sure do get the weirdos a lot...
(Earth...)
BUMBLEBEE: Okay, I know this is a weird question, but... what are we going to do with the dead body? [referring to Thundertron's now-headless corpse]
RATCHET: I don't think he's quite dead, Bumblebee. His spark is still intact, although it is fadign quickly.
CROSSWISE: Well, it is Rossum's Trinity, isn't it? Destroy the brain module and the spark goes offline.
RATCHET: Yeah, give me three good reasons why I should believe that scrapmetal. And the first two don't count.
EVAC: Does the fact that his spark is completely gone suffice?
RATCHET: Give me that! ...Yeah. He's dead.
OPTIMUS PRIME: Well, we can't just leave him here, so...
IRONHIDE: Let's just throw him into the ocean and be done with it.
(They toss Thundertron's body into the ocean)
OPTIMUS PRIME: Alrighty, that's all taken care of. Vector Prime, open a portal back to the Moon.
VECTOR PRIME: Right.
OPTIMUS PRIME: Evac, can you get your ship ready?
EVAC: You bet.
OPTIMUS PRIME: Good. Let's roll out!
(Unbeknownst to them, they're being watched by Laserbeak, who flies back to Soundwave and his crew's ship)
SOUNDWAVE: Laserbeak, report.
LASERBEAK: The Autobots are about to leave Earth. They're heading for the Moon!
SOUNDWAVE: Just as I predicted. Skywarp, Blackout, be ready to greet them. Then we shall find this "Matrix shard".
(Velocitron; Brakedown and Motormaster clash blades)
BRAKEDOWN: Why won't you just leave us alone?
MOTORMASTER: We're not leaving until we have the Matrix shard!
BRAKEDOWN: For the last time, the Matrix shard is stuck in a pot hole! I dropped it there while I was taking it to the security center!
SWERVE: I totally called it.
JAZZ: Autobots, let's roll!
MOTORMASTER: Stunticons, after them!
JAZZ: Where's the pot hole? Anyone see a pot hole?
BLURR: This is ridiculous...
SWERVE: I'm so awesome!
(Motormaster closes in on them in truck mode)
WINDCHARGER: Uh-oh... Stop right-- what the?! (Motormaster transforms and lunges at him, only to get zapped by... a Matrix shard in a pot hole!) Ha! Didn't think finding a Matrix shard would be so easy! Hey, guys! I found the shard! And it totally zapped Motormaster! (Behind them, cables and wires pull in the other Stunticons, fusing them with Motormaster) So let's contact Optimus and tell him that we... Why are you guys looking at me like that?
MENASOR: Prepare yourselves, Autobots... for your untimely deaths by Menasor!
(Meanwhile...)
OPTIMUS PRIME: Well, there's our ship...
EVAC: Backtrack, ready the tow cable!
BACKTRACK: Yes, sir! Alright... need to get this right. One... two...
(Skywarp teleports in and shoots at him)
SKYWARP: BOO!
BACKTRACK: AHH!
SKYWARP: Well, Blackout, this looks like a new one!
BLACKOUT: Sure he still breaks the same.
BACKTRACK: Uh, Evac? Little problem here...
SKYWARP: After you, my friend...
BLACKOUT: Heh.
BACKTRACK: *Gulp*
CROSSWISE: Hang on, Backtrack! We're com-- (Backtrack's head falls at his feet) No!
BLACKOUT: Heh-heh-heh! Who's next?
OPTIMUS PRIME: Autobots, go help Crosswise and that other guy! It seems we're not out of the woods yet... far from it!
