EPILOGUE
Bug Bite opened his eyes.
He was dead, yet at the same time not. His original body had been destroyed in the other universe, but he had long since prepared for such an event. He was always prepared.
He had found the deactivated Waruder somewhere in the depths of Cybertron some time ago, which he had then stashed away in a secret hideout deep in the slums of Kaon. He had planted a cerebro-shell into its head which contained a constantly-updating copy of his mind. In the event of his death, the cerebro-shell would activate and he would be reborn in a new body.
It was fortunate, then, that no one else had discovered or disturbed the Waruder, and thus Bug Bite was able to control his new body as it rose to its feet.
It was doubly fortunate that he had had the foresight to leave behind something else before he had attempted his plan with Expanse. Searching through the hideout, Bug Bite found the tube-shaped device onto which he had downloaded the consciousness of the false Megatron on Earth. It was always good to have contingency plans, and although he had hoped to use this device under somewhat different circumstances, it was still something worth salvaging.
Storing the device away, Bug Bite converted to his new insect form and took off into the sky, intent on setting things right.

Beyond the void of space, two entities floated within the fabric of reality. Shaped like silver skulls, they spun endlessly in and out of eternity, watching events unfold before, during, and after they happened. Their words echoed throughout the void, but only they could understand what they mean.
“The Timemazes have been destroyed. Another gate has been closed. The integrity of reality has been maintained.”
“Yes, but others still remain. The Cybertronians known as Expanse and Gigawatt… they will need to be kept an eye on. They might mean well, but their actions can easily return the multiverse to chaos.”
“Yes, they will need to be dealt with. And what of the spider?”
“Oh, he will no doubt attempt to disturb us again. It is in his nature. His time will come, as will it do so for the one who calls himself Megatron.”
“Megatron.” The name was spoken with severe distaste. “The first to bear that name still lives. His mere existence is a living taunt to our order.”
“Yes, the paradox that should have never been. His death will help restore things.”
“He has already cheated death before. How will we be sure of it this time?”
“By sending those who want him dead more than anything, for the embarrassment he has brought them. Lord Imperious and his Destructons shall be sent to deal with him.”
“Excellent. And with the Quintessons accelerating their own plans, the elimination of all Cybertronians will soon be assured.”
“Yes. The Age of Extinction is upon them.” The Vok cackled together in unison. “And they will be powerless to stop it!”
