THE CRUSADERCONS
Team Rodimus
Rodimus is the captain of the Lost Light. Formerly known as Hot Rod, he has aspirations of one day becoming a great Autobot hero (hence his name change) and is determined to find the Knights of Cybertron to bring his planet into a true Golden Age. Unfortunately, he is rather impulsive and thus gets distracted with various side-quests, though these generally involve helping organics and fellow mechanoids, so his crewmates can't complain too much.

Blaster likes to make things loud, and others like to listen to him. A reporter before the war, Blaster used his talents to raise morale among his fellow Autobots, lifting their spirits in the never-ending fight against the Decepticons. He now serves as chief of communications aboard the Lost Light, keeping everyone connected to Cybertron and surveilling signals in search of anyone who could be in need.
Bluestreak hides his pain with words. A survivor of the Praxus Massacre of 8817, he enlisted with the Autobots after trying to stay neutral and made it his life-long mission to see the Decepticons destroyed. One of the last Autobots to be reawakened on Earth in time for the Unicron War, he decided to stay behind on Earth for a few months in order to learn the local culture, becoming fascinated with the planet and how much it reminded him of Praxus. Not happy with the truce with the Decepticons, he decided to join the Lost Light and bonded with Swerve over non-Cybertronian culture, trying everything he can to ignore the survivor's guilt he has been burdened with for the last millennium.

Huffer used to be upbeat and happy back on Cybertron. He was so passionate about his home world that he was practically the only one who genuinely enjoyed his job of cleaning out the planet's pipe systems, since it meant he was contributing towards making Cybertron a functioning world. His cheery demeanor instantly evaporated when he awakened on Earth with the rest of the Ark crew and he became a dour pessimist, longing to return home. When he finally did return to Cybertron, he still could not shake off his homesickness, feeling that the Cybertron that had been restored was not the same as the one he had left. So when Rodimus called for a quest for Cyberutopia, Huffer decided to sign up, hoping that somewhere out there was the beautiful world he remembered from so long ago.

Landmine has been around for a long time and is no less hard-working for all his age. A loadbearer, he is able to wear large amounts of armor and is often seen working in the cargo hold to move around heavy objects. Rumor has it that he had once trained Optronix, the Autobot who would later become the Decepticon leader Megatron, but he refuses to say a word about this.

Pipes is always looking for an adventure, even if he doesn't have the best of luck. Back on Cybertron, he had a fascination with little trinkets that would be tossed aside by others and he became something of a pack-rat with his collection of "junk." His biggest regret was not joining the crew of the Ark and he aimed to correct that mistake by joining the quest for the Knights of Cybertron. For him, it isn't so much the destination as it is the journey... plus the "treasure" he finds along the way.

Slapdash is all over the place. Disorganized and forgetful, he is not good at keeping up with his teammates and always falls behind. He also has a bad habit of forgetting his weapon and always needs his fellow Autobots providing him with cover fire, something which forever frustrated them. With the war over, others have lightened up around him but still find him to be irritatingly neglectful. Lately, he has taken an interest in some Earth media that Bluestreak and Swerve have introduced to him; in particular, he has become invested in a show called "Miami Metal-Clamp" or something like that.

Strafe is a bit high-strung. Make that very high-strung. He thinks that a Decepticon is waiting behind every corner and he almost always has his gun drawn ready to blast them apart as soon as he lays his sights on them. His fellow Autobots can only hope that he will take the second it takes to register their insignia. A member of the Technobots, Strafe had joined the crew of the Lost Light at the suggestion of Scattershot hoping that it would calm his nerves, although the results so far are negligible at best. Whose bright idea it was to make him part of the ship's security detail is anyone's guess.
