This is a short chapter, just to let you know.
CHAPTER FOUR: FORGOTTEN
Sith gods. The name itself sounded as if it came from exaggerated myths and legends. But Darth Vorath knew the gods were no myth. He knew as much ever since he turned to the dark side of the Force.
After being told by the old Dark Lords on Korriban the location of Valtheran's armor, Vorath had sent twelve Sith Lords-all who were part of his advisory council-to several worlds throughout the Unknown Regions. Unfortunately, they soon returned empty-handed...and some of them were dead.
Vorath then spent most of his time building up his new Sith Order, which was just about ready to make a full-scale attack on the Jedi Order and the New Republic. In the meantime, he studied many worlds that were prominent in the building of the past Sith orders and empires that helped the Sith thrive. He studied worlds such as Ziost, capital of the Ancient Sith Empire; Prakith, homeworld of the Sith Lord Darth Andeddu; and Almas, home to a fortress built by Darth Rivan.
None of these researches had provided Vorath the information he needed. Apparently, everything was forgotten about the Sith gods, who were sometimes thought to have been ancient Dark Lords and Kings. Vorath found it both appalling and frustrating that, judging from the Sith holocrons he had discovered, Sith Lords like Darth Bane, Revan, Tulak Hord, even the ancient King Adas had no knowledge of Valtheran or the other Sith gods.
Of course, Vorath realized, they had all though the Sith gods were simply fictional myths and legends. They did not think them worth mentioning.
He needed a different approach to this situation. Perhaps if he could make contact with one of the ancient Sith spirits, rather then their holographic replicas from their holocrons, then he would find what he desired. He considered finding the tomb of Adas, but immediately decided against it, remembering that the Sith king was only famous because of his stand against the Rakatan.
Rulers of the Old Sith Empire like Marka Ragnos and Molar-Am had utterly ignored the legends, and while Ajunta Pall did study in the gods immensely, his spirit was redeemed by Revan, and thus no longer a 'trustful' source. Only one Dark Lord remained who might have believed the legends, whose spirit was said to roam somewhere on the Deep Core world of Prakith.
Darth Andeddu.
Now determined to complete his quest, Darth Vorath walked to his ships that laid in his temple's hidden hangar and was soon on a course for the Deep Core....
