EDITED 3/2/2017 I'm currently revising/retconning Rogue Squadron's history in my continuity, so I'm replacing the names of all members except Wedge with call signs (as well as changed out a few call signs) for now while I write out the rosters.
CHAPTER FIVE
"Have the World Devastators been deployed?" Darth Sidious asked, tapping his bony fingers idly on the arm of his chair on board the Eclipse.
"Yes, my lord," Klev said, still slightly nervous in being the presence of a Sith Lord. "Admiral Argen will be showing their progress live on your screen."
Sidious cackled. "Good...very good. If this process goes well, the Republic will surely tremble before us!"
"Indeed," Klev replied, trembling himself. He turned to the Emperor, whose frightening eyes were thankfully focused on the holographic secreen. "Do you have any other orders, my Lord?"
"Yes," Sidious muttered. "Prepare my shuttle."
Klev raised an eyebrow. "My Lord?"
"Prepare my shuttle," Sidious repeated, more menacingly. "No more questions."
"Er, yes, my Lord," Klev replied, nervously heading out the chamber. "As you wish."

Within the temple he found on Byss, Luke found nothing but rubble. R2-D2 had a hard time trying to roll around the fallen stone pillars and statues. Luke kept traveling further, for he had felt something, as if something-or someone-was calling him.
Suddenly, he heard a voice speak in his head. "Why are you here, boy?" it asked. To Luke, it sounded bold and wise, reminding him of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
"I...was in search of someone named Thrawn," Luke said. "But I found this instead."
The voice chuckled. "And me, of course. This is-or rather was a Jedi Temple during the days of the Old Republic. Alas, it was destroyed by the Sith after the Clone Wars..."
"And who are you?" Luke asked.
Particles swam and flew, merging together until soon, they formed the blue image of an aged alien.
"I am Jedi Master Bodo Baas, keeper of this temple," the spirit said. "And I must warn you; many evils lies ahead. And you might not be able to stop it..."

He could sense him. Though he sat motionless on his throne, Darth Vorath knew he was out there, on Naboo with the Chosen One's daughter. But he could not act. Not yet.
Darth Sidious was, somehow, still alive, and one of Darth Vader's potential apprentices was also still around. He would give these two a chance, and let them fulfill their wished. And if they were to fail. then he would make his move. And then Toah Jarsan...would fall.

"Now what?" Han asked, leaning in his chair that was placed before a long dining table which the Naboo had set up. "You spoke with the King. Obviously he didn't have the answers you needed. Now what do we do"
"I want to find out more about Queen Amidala," Leia said, sipping from her glass.
Han arched an eyebrow. "Who?"
"Queen Amidala," Leia repeated. "King Narus said she knew my father. He said they were both senators during the Clone Wars. Father never mentioned her..."
"Perhaps he didn't want to," Han suggested. "Something must have happened to her, since she doesn't seem to be around anymore."
"Yes," Leia murmured. "Something..."

"We've lost Rogue Eight," Rogue Seven spoke through Wedge's comlink. "Rogue Leader, we need reinforcements!"
Wedge gazed silently at the large vehicle headed towards the planet while the Super Star Destroyer began to leave.
"I don't think it would be much help, Rogue Seven," Wedge finally said, sighing. "I'll contact General Madine and-"
Suddenly, a loud nose emitted through his comlink, sounding like a mix of rough static and an explosion.
"Rogue Seven!" Wedge exclaimed. "What in the blazes was that?!"
The pilot's voice was shaky. "S-sir...that...that thing is firing some sort of...tractor beam." They gulped. "And it just destroyed Rogue Three..."
Wedge shook his head in disbelief. "General Madine, this is Rogue Leader. Send in reinforcements, ASAP."
"Copy that, Rogue Leader," Madine replied. "Blue Squadron en route."
Soon, a squadron comprised of A-wing starfighters joined in with the X-wings.
"This is Blue Leader," a voice on Wedge's comm. said. "What's the target?"
"Attack that big guy's tractor beam," Wedge said. "We'll handle its weapons."
"Copy that," Blue Leader replied. "Blue Squadron, follow my lead."
The A-wings followed their leader and headed towards the vast ship. Red blaster bolts fired rapidly at the source of the tractor beam, but to no avail. As the X-wing fighters moved towards the firing turrets, TIE fighters again came at them.
"Rogue Leader, you've got one on your tail!" Rogue Two shouted.
"I see him!" Wedge replied. He spun his fighter in a U-turn and fired on the TIE, destroying it.
"Nice shot!" Rogue Five said. "Now if only we could handled that...ship thing."
"It's impossible," Rogue Nine sighed. "There isn't even a bridge to ram into!"
"Rogue Leader, what do we do?" asked Rogue Two.
Wedge gazed again at the devastating weapon before sighing. "Contact General Calrissian's team and tell them to rendezvous with the fleet. We're leaving..."

The spirit of Bodo Baas had strangely vanished, and Luke continued venturing into the temple, with R2-D2 close behind him. As he went deeper and deeper, he could sense a dark presence-a presence he thought should have been long gone...
"Hello, Jedi," a cold voice said. "I'm glad you could come."
Luke ignited his emerald-colored lightsaber and turned to face a pale man, with red-orange hair and yellow, sinister eyes.
'Who are you?" Luke demanded.
The stranger smiled, revealing a familiar set of dirty teeth. "Don't you recognize me, young Skywalker?" he asked. "It's only been six years, which I'm sure means nothing to you."
Luke eyed the stranger carefully, saying nothing.
"I will admit," the man said, "I do look...different. Maybe this will jog your memory..."
The stranger raised his hands and unleashed a storm of lightning from his fingertips. Luke barely managed to deflect it with lightsaber.
The man cackled. "Very good...you caught on a lot more quicker than I expected."
"It can't be..." Luke muttered. "You're supposed to be dead! My father killed you!"
"Not quite, my boy," the stranger said, grinning. "On that day, Anakin Skywalker killed Emperor Palpatine...but not Darth Sidious."
He ignited a scarlet-bladed lightsaber, his eyes focusing on Luke. "Now, young Skywalker..." he said quietly. "You will join me...or die."
