Transformers Regenerated: Unicron Saga X, Chapter Eight

Edited 11/22/2014: Took out the flashback at the beginning since it has absolutely nothing to do with the story.
CHAPTER EIGHT
Mindwipe and Bugly watched in awe as the thirteen capsules crackled with energy. Through tubes connecting the containers to the golden circle in the chamber's center, they could see the spark energy of each captive flowing through them towards the circle.

    Towards the Seal of Primus.

"Do you... do you actually thing he's really under there?" Bugly asked Mindwipe. "Our... our creator?"

"Only one way to find out," Mindwipe murmured. "And that is to watch."

Suddenly, the doors behind them began to shudder. The pair whirled around to face it, with Bugly bringing out his energy blade and Mindwipe his two daggers.

"After we deal with the interlopers, of course."

Ultra Magnus crashed through the door to the underground chamber, lugging his trusted battle hammer. Immediately spotting Bugly and Mindwipe, he swung his weapon and bashed them with it, sending them flying into the opposite wall.

"Straight forward as always," Shockwave muttered, coming up beside him.

Ignoring the Decepticon, Ultra Magnus said, "Hardhead, Blockade, make sure those two stay down."

"Since when do I take orders from you?" Blockade snapped.

"Do as he says," Shockwave said coldly. "Unless you wish to disobey me."

Startled by the severity in her commander's voice, Blockade complied with his order and went with Hardhead to watch over the temporarily unconscious pair.

"Now then," Magnus said, "let's put a stop to this Unbinding and get those capsules open."

"That may not be very wise," said the Decepticon medic Flatline. "See those tubes connected to them? Their spark energy is flowing through them. If we open them now, our captured friends will be nothing but corpses."

"So how do we get their spark energy back to their bodies?" Nightbeat asked.

"Nothing can be undone," Bludgeon said, restrained by Blockade's partner Roadkill. "It is all over. Cybertron's rebirth is upon us."

"Wait a minute," Slipstream said, pointing at one of the thirteen capsules. "There isn't any spark energy flowing from that one. Why is that?"

"That is the Fallen's capsule," Bludgeon murmured. "I... I don't understand why his isn't... I thought they were to all go simultaneously."

Moving swiftly towards the Fallen's capsule, Ultra Magnus grabbed either side of the lid and, with all of his might, wrenched it off. At the same time, the spark energy from the other containers ceased their flow and began to slowly return to their owners.

"What have you done?" Magnus looked down at the Fallen, who was online and flaring at him. "You have ruined everything!"

Magnus smirked slightly as he raised his hammer. "That means I've done something right."

He brought the hammer down only for it to stop in mid-descent. Rising out of the capsule, the Fallen grabbed the large tool and sent a surge of flames through it, turning it to ash. As Magnus recoiled from the sudden act, the Fallen unleashed a burst of telekinetic energy, sending him colliding into Shockwave and the others.

"Do you not want Cybertron to prosper once more?" the Fallen growled. "Do you not want our race to live again in peace?"

"I'm having a hard time getting 'peace' out of all this havoc you've been causing," Nightbeat said harshly.

"Only though chaos can the eternal war of the gods be ended... and you have robbed us all of that opportunity."

"You are delusional," Magnus said as he got back to his feet. "What if you get proven wrong and there is no Primus underneath that seal? Then you would've wasted dozens of lives!"

"The lives of others hardly concern me," the Fallen said coldly. "And I know that Primus is under there; why else would the seal be closed in the first place?"

Not waiting for an answer, the Fallen raised his right arm and fired the cannon mounted to it at the ground in front of the allied team, sending them back. He then activated his warping ability to teleport out of the underground chamber, ending up on the surface directly above it.

Where several dozen Autobots and Decepticons awaited him.

"This is what happens when you disobey orders," said Kup, leading the group. "You get results."

"If by results you mean the extinction of the Cybertronian race, then yes," the Fallen said. "Since my initial plan failed, I am willing to accept your surrenders as an alternative."

"Yeah, that ploy might work on a bunch of antroids," snapped Treadshot. "Not so here."

"Then your fates have already been decided." The flames surrounding the Fallen began to crackle. "Proceed on your way to oblivion."
