All right, enough with character lists. Here's a BIONICLE story I just wrote. Enjoy
BIONICLE LEGACY-VOLUME ONE
THE DARKNESS GATHERS
IN THE TIME BEFORE TIME....
The smell of burning furnaces filled the Great Beings' forges. The smoke from the forge fire watered the blacksmith's eyes, but he kept on working, metal clanging onto metal. Finally, after hours of work and labor, it was done.
Four Great Masks laid before the gathered Great Beings. Each one represented a fundamental force of the universe: Life, Death, Creation, and Time. Each one would support the workings of nature within the Matoran Universe. They were both essential and dangerous to the Great Spirit. Without them, Mata Nui and his inhabitants would never be able to function. But unless they were safely protected, they could become the universe's undoing if fallen into the wrong hands.
Thus, each of the present Great Beings was tasked with finding a way to protect the masks. Two of them took the Mask of Life to an underground chamber, guarded by several beings. A third one divided the Mask of Time into six Great Kanoka Disks, and placed them in the care of the being known as Artakha. The great builder was also given the third Great Mask, the Mask of Creation.
But nothing is known on what the fourth Great Being did with the Mask of Death. Some say he hid it near or with the Mask of Life. Others think he kept it for himself. Whatever happened to the mask, knowledge of it was forgotten long ago by Matoran and Great Being alike. But if any of them did remember, they would find out that the mask would cause chaos not just for the Matoran Universe, but entire multiverse as well...
CHAPTER ONE
It had been ten years since Makuta Teridax was defeated at the hands of the Great Spirit Mata Nui. Since then, the inhabitants of the Matoran Universe have migrated to the reformed Spherus Magna and made an alliance with the Agori and the Glatorian.
Toa Tahu, a leader of this new society, was quite impressed by how much had been accomplished in those ten years. The Matoran and the Agori villagers had gotten along well, and they had been able to persuade other species to join as well.
With enough time and effort, a council was formed to represent each species and organization that had joined the alliance. Turaga Vakama represented the Matoran, Raanu the Agori, Helryx the Order of Mata Nui, Ackar the Glatorian, a Vortixx named Tyra, and lastly Tahu, who represented the Toa warriors.
Once everything and everyone was settled and established, an age of peace followed forth. The remnants of Makuta's army were imprisoned, although the remaining Barraki warlords and a handful of Skrall had vanished into the Wastelands of Spherus Magna.
After thousands of years of conflict, both cultures were at peace. But deep down, Tahu wondered just how long it was going to last...

Toa Jaller admired the view of Vulcanus from a cliff which oversaw the village. It reminded him much of Ta-Koro, with small volcanoes erupting in the distance, cloaking the village with a red light. Several huts were lighted by new furnaces made from the leftover technology of Ta-Metru. The Agori were adapting quite well to the new tools.
The Toa of Fire sighed. A lot had happened ever since he and the Toa Mahri were rescued from the gold Skakdi fusion's control by the Toa Hagah. Toa Lewa had returned after missing for several days, accompanied by Toa Helryx, Axonn, Brutaka, two Matoran, and the legendary Artakha.
Lewa's tale was a long one, but from what Tahu and the others had gathered, there was a mad Great Being that was trapped in the jungles of Bota Magna, with the half-Skakdi Vezon as an accomplice. Helryx and the others had debated on what to do while Lewa was dragged away by a tribe of Jungle Agori. After a series of events the Toa of Air had chose not to describe, he, Helryx, and the others managed to escape the Great Being's fortress, while two members of their party, Toa Tuyet and Makuta Miserix, decided to depart.
With the knowledge of a mad Great Being, an insane Skakdi, a rogue Toa, a dragon-sized Makuta, and other such beings on the run, Jaller was surprised that none of them had made a reappearance.
Jaller's musings were interrupted by the cry of a Ta-Matoran. "Toa Jaller! Toa Jaller!"
The Toa of Fire turned to see the Matoran he knew as Balta run towards him. "What is it, Balta?" Jaller asked, slightly concerned.
After stopping to take a breath, Balta looked up at him. "Tahu's called for a conference at New Atero. He says that it's very urgent, and that you and the other Toa Mahri must attend."
"I'll be there at once," Jaller said. "Do you think I could borrow one of the villagers' vehicles?"
"You can borrow my Dune Chariot," Balta said eagerly. "Now hurry! I'm sure everyone's waiting for you!"
Jaller nodded and rushed to the vehicle, his mind pondering on why this meeting was so urgent.

Several beings occupied the conference room within New Atero's central temple. Tahu sat at the end of a long table, with the other nine councilors on one side, and several Toa on the other, along with Glatorian and members of the Order of Mata Nui.
Tahu tapped his fingers a bit impatiently just as Toa Jaller quickly walked into the room, taking his seat beside the other Toa Mahri.
"Sorry about the wait," Jaller muttered. "Balta's dune chariot is a lot slower than the others I've seen."
"No matter," Tahu replied, waving off the excuse. "There seems to be something very strange going on around Spherus Magna. There have been several reports on disappearances, recently occurring in Iconox and Tesara."
"Is there a pattern to these disappearances?" asked the Agori leader Raanu.
Tahu nodded grimly. "It appears there is. All of the ones who have disappeared were Matoran of Light."
The room went silent. Everyone exchanged concerned and worried looks with one another. Finally, the Toa Hagah of Fire Norik decided to speak. "Any idea on who or what's behind this?"
Tahu shook his head. "To be honest, it could be anyone. The Barraki, the Skrall, maybe even the Skakdi Fusion we rescued Jaller and the others from ten years ago."
"But what are we going to do?" Raanu asked. "How are we going to stop this?"
"For right now, we're going to send two teams of Toa and Glatorian to the outer regions. Toa Kopaka will take Pohatu, Gali, Ackar, and Vastus to a region near Aqua Magna, while Jaller will take Gresh, Kiina, Hewkii, and Nuparu to the Bota Magna region."
"I'm not sure that is wise," Helryx interjected. "You do know that Vezon and a mad Great Being reside there, don't you?"
"I am fully aware of that," Tahu replied. "But they very well may be the source of all of this. They must be stopped."
"Even so, I don't think three Toa and two Glatorian with elemental powers will be enough to stop them." She gestured to two Order of Mata Nui members opposite of her. "Trinuma and Johmak should at least accompany them."
Tahu nodded. "Very well." He turned to those who had been chosen. "Good luck to all. We're all counting on you."
This is awesome, bro! I'm on to the next chapter.
