Star Wars Destiny Timeline UPDATED 11/6/12

As the title says, this is a timeline of my Star Wars stories, taking place after Return of the Jedi. It mixes in stuff from official post-ROTJ EU, along with my own ideas. So, without further ado, here it is.
4-5 ABY
After the Battle if Endor, which saw the deaths of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, the Galactic Empire was left scattered. Although many Grand Moffs, admirals, and warlords claimed leadership, the most recognized successor of Palpatine was Grand Vizier Sate Pestage.

The newly-founded New Republic continued to fight against the Empire and its multiple rulers, which included Director Ysanne Isard, Lord Shadowspawn, Trioculus, and Zsinj. Eventually, Pestage is assassinated on his home planet of Ciutric IV, Isard is captured and later executed for her war crimes, Shadowspawn goes MIA, and the rest are either killed or captured as well. The remnants of the Empire is left in the hands of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
6-8 ABY
After many defeats, Thrawn takes the Empire's remnants and retreat to various places across the galaxy, mainly in the Outer Rim regions and the Deep Core. On the planet Byss, Thrawn discovers a clone of Emperor Palpatine, who had retaken his Sith name of Darth Sidious. The emperor reforms the Galactic Empire into the Dark Empire, which, unbeknownst to him, is secretly being orchestrated by Finis Valorum, who is under the alias of Atha Prime, and Darth Vorath, the new Dark Lord of the Sith.

Meanwhile, in 7 ABY, Luke Skywalker rebuilds the Jedi Order, having begun training an apprentice, Toah Jarsan, and making contact with several survivors of the Great Jedi Purge, including Jedi Master Xanus Baran and Aqinos. On Yavin 4, Luke establishes a Jedi Praxeum, which would serve as the New Jedi Order's headquarters for the next twenty years.
9 ABY
Three years after its founding, the Dark Empire began its first move. Darth Sidious instructed Supreme Commander Thrawn to carry out a campaign against the New Republic. The conflict shortly ended, but the Republic remained weary of the Empire.

Meanwhile, Jacen and Jaina Solo, future Jedi Knights, were born to Han and Leia Organa Solo.
10 ABY
Shortly after the Thrawn's campaign, the Dark Empire fully revealed itself by sending the World Devastators to Had Abbadon. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker encountered the clone Palpatine, who later revealed himself to Han, Leia, and Toah. After three years of a false calm, the Galactic Civil War took a new turn.

At the same time, Thrawn and his forces attacked Coruscant. However, the battle was short, for the Supreme Commander realized that Darth Sidious was planning to get rid of the old Imperials and ordered a retreat to the Unknown Regions. They arrived at Dromund Kaas, where Emperor Espaa Valorum offered them to join his Crimson Empire, which was also being secretly controlled by Darth Vorath.
11 ABY
During a battle at Empress Teta, Darth Sidious unveils the Galaxy Gun, which destroys Empress Teta, as well as a majority of the Republic's forces, including Supreme Commander Gial Ackbar. Shortly after however, Sidious is assassinated by Darth Vorath and Atha Prime. Once the news is revealed across the galaxy, the rest of the Dark Empire retreats from Byss to Bastion, thereby ending the Galactic Civil War.

In the aftermath, Chief of State Mon Mothma retires, and Senator Jenssar SoBilles of Duro is elected to replace her.

A few months later, after Luke Skywalker returns to the Jedi Praxeum after his adventure in the realm of Praetus, young Jedi Kyp Durron is possessed by the ancient Dark Lord Exar Kun. After a brief conflict, Kun leaves Durron's body, and is forced to remain in his tomb on Yavin 4 forever.
14 ABY
A Sith cult originally formed by Dark Jedi Desann, and later led by Tavion Axmis, is created on the intent of bringing back the Dark Lord Marka Ragnos. Jedi Knight Jaden Korr defeats the cult however, and Desann and Axmis are defeated.
16 ABY
During the Republic's era of peace, the Duskhan League, led by Viceroy Nil Spaar, began what would be known as the Black Fleet Crisis. Eventually, Spaar was defeated, and the conflict came to a quick end.
17 ABY
Darth Vorath secretly began to sow the seeds necessary for his ultimate plan. He corrupted a young Jedi named Dolph, who took on the name Kueller and started the Almanian Uprising. Although the conflict was short-lived, it provided Vorath enough time to retrieve resources he needed from the planet Almania to fuel his growing army.
18 ABY
A short conflict between the Republic and Corellia occurs, started by Han Solo's distant cousin, Thrackan Sal-Solo.
25 ABY
Many years later, the time for Vorath's attack had come. After an agent of his went to the Outer Rim to delay the Yuuzhan Vong's invasion, the Crimson Empire came out of hiding and brought an end to the Republic's decade of peace. While Espaa Valorum is killed on Dromund Kaas, so that Vorath could become the Empire's public ruler, Atha Prime went to Coruscant and assassinated Chief of State SoBilles, declaring himself to be Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum.

With both the Republic and the Empire under Vorath's control, the Imperial Sith War began.
26 ABY
After many victories at worlds such as Dac and Geonosis, the Empire then headed for Coruscant, sending out its entire fleet and army.

During the battle of Coruscant, the Republic suffered many losses, most of it being caused by the Beast Lord Kal-Teraz. However, with the help of the Mandalorians and Gilad Pellaeon's defecting Imperials, Darth Vorath and Finis Valorum were killed, and the Empire was finished.

After temporarily switching their capital to Corellia, the Republic and the Imperial Remnant were reformed into the Galactic Alliance, headed by a triumvirate consisting of Chief of State Leia Organa Solo, Supreme Commander Wedge Antilles, and Imperial Head of State Gilad Pellaeon. With the Imperial Sith War ended, a new age of peace had begun for the galaxy.

Star Wars Destiny Short Stories: Eternal Life / Valorum

ETERNAL LIFE
--Korriban, 6410 BBY--
"Transfer essence," the Dark Lord of the Sith Empire muttered to his young apprentice, as he sat upon his sand-colored throne. "A technique discovered by the Sith Lord Karness Muur, which allowed him to transfer his spirit into the fabled Muur Talisman."

His eyes narrowed. "At least, that's what the legends say."

His apprentice looked up at his master. "Has anyone else managed to use transfer essence after Muur?"

The Dark Lord shook his head. "Many have attempted it, but to no avail. I highly doubt such a technique is even possible. It's simply a wild dream in every ambitious Sith Lord's mind."

"It sounds plausible to me," the apprentice said, receiving a cold glare from his master.

"Whether it is or not to you, I do not want you to waste your time just to find out for yourself." The Dark Lord raised up and headed out of the dimly-lit chamber. "If you are to be my successor, Andeddu, your mind must be focused on reality, rather than some crazy myth."

He briefly turned back to his apprentice. "Do I make myself clear?"

The apprentice bowed. "Yes, my master."
--Ten years later--
"No..." Darth Trayus staggered back, clutching his left rib. His crimson eyes stared coldly into his apprentice's black ones. "My reign...it was never supposed to end like this!"

The apprentice smiled wickedly. "On the contrary, master..." A scarlet blade of flames appeared in his hands. "I would never have it end any other way."

For a while, Trayus simply stared at his apprentice, filled with contempt. Finally, he let out a sigh. "I should have foreseen this day. This is how the Dark Lords Ajunta Pall and Molar-Am fell...at the hands of their allies. I should have know it would be how I fell."

As his apprentice slowly approached him, Trayus went on. "Tell me, Andeddu...have you found out the answer?"

The apprentice stopped in his tracks, eying his master carefully. "What are you talking about?"

Trayus laughed, causing the pain in his side to worsen. "Don't fool with me, apprentice. I know you've been searching for the key to transfer essence, despite my forbidding of you."

Andeddu's smile returned. "Ah yes, I have. After years of searching through the writings of Karness Muur and XoXaan, I have discovered on how to cheat death by taking over another's body. At last, I shall be the greatest Dark Lord to have lived, by being the only Sith left living."

Trayus chuckled. "I don't think so. Essence transfer is an inferior technique compared to certain others..."

The apprentice rose an eyebrow. "Such as...?"

"It was discovered by the Rakata and the knowledge was passed on to the ancient Sith king Adas." Trayus fell to one knee onto the stone floor, the agony in his side growing. "It is said that the act of recreating the entire galaxy into one of mindless, loyal, and obedient slaves can let one rule forever..."

The apprentice let out a harsh laugh. "Now how can a Dark Lord of the Sith rule a dead empire?" He walked up to Trayus, his fiery blade raised high over his head. "And now, the reign of Darth Trayus comes to an end."

"Indeed," Trayus said quietly. "And let the rise of Darth Andeddu herald his eventual downfall."

The lightsaber was brought down and Darth Trayus' last laugh was cut short.
VALORUM
--Coruscant, 25 ABY--
From Tarsus to Tullius. From Laeca to Eixes. From Finis to Espaa.

The House of Valorum had been a notorious family ever since the end of the New Sith Wars. Nearly all of its patriarchs had served the Old Republic as Supreme Chancellor.

And now it was coming to an end.

Finis Valorum knew what was going to happen to his son. He knew Espaa's usefulness to Darth Vorath had come to an end. But it was not his son that Finis would mourn.

It would be his legacy.
--Dromund Kaas--
Espaa Valorum watched impatiently as Darth Vorath walked down the halls of his throne room, monologuing to his prisoners. What was he playing at, Espaa thought. And what was he doing on Dromund Kaas? Hadn't Vorath refrained from coming here in order to trick the Imperials into thinking that they were no longer serving a Sith Lord?

Espaa eyed the Dark Lord of the Sith suspiciously. Vorath certainly had something planned...

"And for that," Vorath was saying as he walked up to Espaa, "I thank him."

Espaa tilted his head, giving the Sith Lord a weary look. "Thank you," he said dryly, "for that fascinating tale. Now, may I ask why you're here? Or, better yet, what in the galaxy is going on?"

From beneath the strange helmet Vorath wore, Espaa could tell that the Sith Lord was smiling through his eyes. He's certainly up to something, Espaa thought.

"That is a good question, I must admit," Vorath said with a quiet laugh. He brought out a spear-like staff. 'To put it simply, Espaa Valorum..."

The Dark Lord raised his bladed staff at Espaa. Then, the Crimson Emperor realized the reason for all of this. He was nothing but a ploy. A tool to set the stage for Darth Vorath's ultimate plan in taking over the galaxy. He had been used by both the Dark Lord of the Sith...and his father.

Espaa Valorum did not need to hear Vorath's next words. He had already figured it out...
--Coruscant--
They say that if someone close to a Jedi were to die, the said Jedi would be able to feel their friend's death from across the galaxy.

And although Finis Valorum was no Jedi, he still could not help but feel as if something inside of him had died. And had left nothing but an empty void....
